Today I went out painting near Moose North of Jackson, the weather was great,  There were two skinny, hungry spring Moose crossing the river just behind me. ( Glad it wasn't a bear)  Paul was fishing the river...Fun day.  I painted the Snowy creek and willows.

My husband and I went out this weekend camping up the Grey's River near our home and had a glorious time.  Winter's snow is still evident on the mountain tops and spring's wild flowers are appearing.  We saw Moose, Elk, Mule Deer as well as a large variety of birds and waterfowl, and happily no bear.

Something from Oswald

Today I read something that inspired me ..from Oswald Chambers...
There is a difference between an Idea and a vision. An idea has no moral inspiration, a vision has.   The people who give themselves over to ideas rarely do anything. ...But where ever there is a vision, there is also a life of rectitude because the vision imparts moral incentive.
Ideas may lull to ruin. take stock of yourself spiritually and see whether you have ideas only or if you have vision.
(Utmost for His Highest, Oswald Chambers)  " Where there is no vision the people cast off restraint".  proverbs 29:18

The painting " Branding Day" is showing in the Buffalo Trail Gallery,  8x10

Hello,

This morning I woke to a rainy Spring day,  It is quite lovely and much needed.  In case your not familiar with the area I live it is Alpine Wy.  near the famous town of Jackson Hole and the great National Parks.
The  "art season" is about to begin here and it is an amazing time for the art lover.
If you have never experienced, it you should try it.   The National Wildlife Museum, and many Galleries have incredible Art.  Including my beloved "Buffalo Trail Gallery"

This is a painting of my youngest child,  when she was 18, she is posing for me on the property behind our home.
